Delete your Sampada account

Sampada, the heritage app of Nepal's cities, is built and operated by Sironik. You can delete your Sampada account at any time, with or without the app.

In the app

Open Sampada and sign in.
On the Home screen, tap the person icon (Account) at the top right.
Tap Delete account, then Delete to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

Email support@sironik.com with the subject "Delete my Sampada account". Include the phone number or email address you sign in with. If you can, send it from that email address.

To make sure the request is really yours, we may send a code to that phone number or email address. We delete the account within 7 days of confirming the request and reply once it's done.

What is deleted

Your profile: name and preferred language.
Your sign-in details: phone number, email address, password and any linked Google account.
Your favorites synced to your account, and all your sign-in sessions.

What is kept

Our internal change log keeps a record that an account was created and deleted, without your name, phone number or email address.
Server logs, which may contain your IP address, and the phone number or email a sign-in code was sent to, are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted automatically.
Favorites and reminders saved on your phone stay on the phone until you remove them or uninstall the app.
